The film the Halibut on land is exploring the significance that fishing and the sea has to communities in Åfjord municipality, Norway. I worked closely with the choir Koret Yulin’s in Roan. Furthermore, I filmed at a local, small-scale fish processing plant. Using participatory methods, we created a locally situated fable, elaborating on the state of the near by sea.
