A Fistful of Tomatoes is a film by the duo Marchi & Andersson (Alessandro Marchi and Emil Andersson). By using participatory methods, we have written and partly improvised scenes along with local residents that deal with how Almeria in southern Spain is affected by its huge vegetable industry. We have used semi-fiction, along with established film tropes, to make it easier for the participants to talk about sensitive political/social issues.
